Patrick Sharpe

Pat was born and raised in Columbia where he grew up down the street from his now law partner, Joe. He attended Dreher High School downtown and went to the University of South Carolina where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Political Science. While attending USC, Pat found his love for helping people in need while working for attorney Richard “Dick” Harpootlian.

After graduating from USC, Pat went on to obtain his law degree from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Pat clerked for several top attorneys including Dick Harpootlian, Jim Griffin, A. Camden “Cam” Lewis, and Keith Babcock, as well as both Solicitor David Pascoe of the 1st Circuit Solicitors Office and Solicitor Scarlett Wilson of the 9th Circuit Solicitors Office.

Upon graduating from law school and passing the bar Pat went to work at the Richland County Public Defender’s office where he handled over 700 General Sessions cases. Pat then switched sides and got incredible experience as he prosecuted DUIs for the City of Columbia. After a short time as a prosecutor, Pat found himself really missing his passion for helping those in need, so in February of 2016 he left his roll as prosecutor and started the Law Office of Patrick C. Sharpe, L.L.C. where he worked until realizing a dream and starting Sharpe & Leventis, LLC. with his lifelong best friend Joe.

Pat lives in Columbia with his wife, and their son, two dogs and cats. In his free time, Pat enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his Gamecocks and Pittsburgh Steelers.
